UWA - University of Western Australia

In 2005, Belmont City College became only the second secondary school to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Western Australia. This MoU articulates the commitment of both UWA and BCC to providing courses and in turn pathways for students from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds to attend university.

This agreement gives BCC, its students and staff access to UWA’s facilities and staff throughout the year to enhance the likelihood of student entry into this pre-eminent tertiary institution.

City of Belmont


The City of Belmont supports the College through funding a number of programs both directly and through outside agencies. Programs undertaken with funds provided by the City of Belmont include;

  • Choose Respect pastoral care and values program
  • Annual drama performances
  • College camps and excursions
  • Breakfast Club
  • Year 7 Homework Club
  • Years 8 -10 Academic Extension event
  • Year 7 Scholarships in the areas of Academic Success, Sport, Citizenship and Music College Chaplaincy
These programs provide students a range of rich activities that enable them to positively participate in both the life of our College and the broader Belmont community.
