An awesome team of girls from BCC, coached by Luke Kealley, played in the U13 Girls cricket competition this season for local club Ascot Eagles Junior Cricket Club.
The girls showed phenomenal spirit early in the season, having never played cricket before. They showed immense improvement week to week and ended the season with four wins and two close losses.
It was inspirational to see how a group of girls who had never played cricket before, banded together and forged friendships, supported each other and showed teamwork, competitive spirit and commitment. The qualities reflected in this team are qualities that we all aspire to.
The girls should be proud of their achievements and proud of the way they upheld the positive values of both Ascot Eagles Junior Cricket Club and Belmont City College.
We are all already looking forward to next season!
