Earlier this term we took a small team of students to compete in the School Sports WA All Schools Cross Country Championships. Kyra (Year 7) was aiming for a top 10 finish in her division. She ran an awesome race against 111 other participants, completing the 3km course in 11.09 minutes coming 2nd overall.
Kyra has been selected to represent the state at the Australian Cross Country Championships. She will now travel to Wollongong in August. What an achievement.
The BCC community would like to wish Kyra well in her preparation and all the best on race day in August.
