Kinjarling Djinda Ngardak Culinary Camp

Year 12 graduate, Shaleeka, attended the Kinjarling Djinda Ngardak culinary camp where she spent a week working with professional chefs passionate about Indigenous ingredients. The week culminated in a 4-course gala dinner, attended by 180 people.

Shaleeka’s culinary skills and hard work, saw her selected to represent Australian the World Food Olympics as part of the Australian Culinary Federation Youth Team, to be held in Germany in February 2020!!!

We couldn’t be prouder of her; not only is she a talented budding chef but also an outstanding role model in her community. Congratulations Shaleeka, this is a truly monumental achievement!!
