On Tuesday 22 November, Year 9 A Plus students visited the UWA campus for the day as part of the UWA Aspire program, to get a taster of some of the courses on offer at university. Students enjoyed a philosophical discussion on the definition of art, led by a Philosophy lecturer and post-graduate students; learned about the origins of our solar system, and solved a crime in a criminology activity.
Aspire UWA works with Belmont City College and other selected schools in regional Western Australia and Perth to raise aspirations for tertiary education.
