On Monday 24 October, the BCC Interschool Athletics Team ventured off to Ern Clark Athletics Track in Cannington, for the SSWA F-Division Carnival. Whilst there were some great individual performances, it was the team-first approach that really stood out, throughout the day. All of the BCC competitors went ‘above and beyond’, and were prepared to fill in where need be, and just compete to get the College valuable points.
The BCC team were in the lead for most of the day, with competitors regularly placing in the Top 3 for their events. BCC ended up with 40 – 1st Places, 21 – 2nd Places and 32 – 3rd Places, out of 160 events.

Special mentions:
• Kyra (Year 10) – won ALL of her 8 events, and was crowned Champion for Year 10
• Ebony (Year 7), Cleveland (Year 7), Leonce (Year 9), Isabelle (Year 11) – were all Runner-Up Champions in their respective year groups
• Manny (Year 11) – jumped an incredible 1.80m to win the Year 11 & Over High Jump
